The HEFTER Glass Gallery and Studio is situated in Pannonhalma, in the immediate vicinity of the Pannonhalma Archabbey, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Through permanent and temporary displays in indoor and outdoor exhibition areas, the studio showcases the very best of Hungarian and international glass sculpting, glass painting and related arts forms. Currently, it is the only exhibition space in Hungary where glass-related art forms are welcome to be on permanent display.

The gallery features a permanent exhibition on the restoration of colourful leaded glass windows. Visitors can gain an insight into the workshop secrets of a millennial craft through the restoration of glasswork seen at the Archabbey of Pannonhalma, the Matthias Church on Castle Hill and the National Bank of Hungary.

Unique glass artwork, design products and high-quality gift items created by the studio and exhibiting artists are on sale at the gallery’s own gift shop, also situated in the building.
